Below is a clip of CNN talking about geteducated.com.  A website that is based around finding online degree programs and comparing them.

I find the idea of Online Education to be a very touchy issue.  Imagine yourself in a lobby getting ready to be called in for a job interview.  Beside you sits another applicant.  While conversing with the person who is your competitor for the job, you find out that they got their masters degree at the University of Phoenix online in 1 year and it only cost them $15,000!  You on the other hand got your degree at a state university, where you spent 2 years working on campus and spent closer to $30,000.

Are you angry that you have equivalent degrees and you spent twice as much, or do you feel like your quality of education was better and that is what you were paying for?

What if you are the interviewer.  Would the different degrees be a significant factor as you decide between the candidates?
